Brissenden was well known as a poet and distinguished academic at the ANU. R. F. Brissenden was born at Wentworthville, New South Wales, and was educated at Cowra High School and the Universties of Sydney and Leeds. He lived in Canberra with his wife Rosemary, an author in her own right. |
