Paddy is a fiction and screenplay writer and has one numerous awards for her short stories. Her work has been published widely in literary magazines as well as being anthologised in books such as Best Australian Stories 2004. In March 2005 Paddy was awarded a Full Fellowship residency at the Vermont Studio Center, USA. Her travel was supported by the Literature Board of the Australia Council for the Arts. She lives in Melbourne.
