In 2004 I decided that it was time to stop ignoring Australian Crime Fiction and support the local authors. All well and good, but to do that I had to track down the authors and the books that they wrote. The first thing that became glaringly obvious was that I wasn't going to be able to easily track down a list of Australian mystery authors and their books from a single site.

Sites such as www.stopyourekillingme.com and www.fantasticfiction.co.uk are exceptional for finding out all about crime fiction, but they are largely skewed towards US and UK authors respectively.

After months of hunting, picking, compiling and listing I have put together the makings of what I hope will become an extensive listing of Australian Crime Fiction. Because I also enjoy reviewing books, I have started including links to my book reviews. With luck the number of these will grow as I progress through the list.

I have compiled this site on my own and my knowledge is not exhaustive so this database is by no means complete. I am relying on you out there to let me know of any omissions I have made.
